Hello there friends, family and loved ones this is Vern Tejas with a
cyberblast from Team We’ll Cho Oyu. Hey it was a big day we got up early and
got down late. We started from Camp 1 at about 21,000 feet and did some
slightly technical ice climbing and ended up at about 23,000 feet at Camp 2.
It was a big day for everyone the Sherpas, the climbers, and myself, everyone
is pretty much tuckered out and heading for bed. About two o’clock in the
afternoon it started snowing which really validates Michael Fagan, our weather
forecaster who projected that we would see some snow, so we really appreciate
the heads up. It’s still just a light dusting of snow so hopefully we will get
down before the mountain gets loaded up with lots of snow. So please keep your
fingers crossed for us and stay tuned to the further adventures of Team We’ll
Cho Oyu. Vern
