The above mentioned 12 members expedition team was permitted to
climb 8516 meter high Mt. Lhotse from normal route for the period of 75 days
from 25th March, 2006 under the leadership of Mr. Rodrigo Hernan Jordan
Fucas of Chile.
The
handling agency of the expedition team is Asian Trekking Pvt. Ltd.,

Earlier report: We just recieved phone call
from Everest basecamp by Pertemba Sherpa the Chilean Lhotse team sirdar and
got the following report.
Yesterday 11th May 5 member
and 2 climbing sherpa have summitted Mt. Lhotse and they are returning
safely back to Basecamp. Another 6 member and 2 climbing sherpa summitted
this morning 12 May and they are also way back to southcol. Only 1 member
Mr. Cladio Lucerro Martinez could not make the summit.
