Everest / Lhotse 2006: More Lhotse Summits

As per the message received from the Basecamp (Liaison Officer) the following High Altitude Worker of "International Lhotse Expedition 06" team climbed Mt. Lhotse at 6.45 a.m. on 12th May 2006.

1.      Mr. Tshiring Wanchu Sherpa (24), High Altitude Worker, Namche-5, Solukhumbu, Nepal

            The above mentioned expedition team comprising of 12 members was permitted to climb 8516 meter high Mt. Lhotse from normal route for the period of 75 days from 4th April, 2006 under the leadership of Mr. Gonzalez Calleja Jesus of Spain.

            The handling agency of the expedition team is Thamserku Trekking Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu, Nepal.

As per the message received from the Basecamp (Liaison Officer) the following one member and two High Altitude Workers of "Norwegian Lhotse Expedition 2006" team climbed Mt. Lhotse on 13th May 2006.

1.      Mr. Sven Hougen Gangdal (41), Director, Tangstubukken, Norway,

2. Mr. Dawa Chhiri Sherpa (35), High Altitude Worker, Gaurishankar - 1, Dolakha, Nepal.
3. Mr. Da Chhiri Sherpa (29), High Altitude Worker, Namche - 4, Solukhumbu, Nepal.
