  Polish International Winter Nanga Parbat Expedition: It is starting!


 

Dear EverestNews Readers, After spending two nights in Rawalpindi, and addressing a huge press conference in which the expedition leader described their plan regarding the expedition and introduce members of the expedition, he also thanks the government of Pakistan for reducing peak fee to 5% for winter climb in Pakistan. He also announced that Polish Winter Expedition will return to K2 in 2007/2008.

They plan to stay 7th night in Chilas and 8th night in Tarasing, before reach on 9th December at Base Camp. They are planning to establish base camp at Latuba sammar pasture near the shapards huts.
