Silvio, "Gnaro"
Mondinelli reached the summit of Lhotse this morning at 10 am, local time,
together with Gianpaolo Corona and Gianpaolo Casarotto. They left C4 at 2.00
am, the weather was very cold and windy. He phoned me from the summit and I
could hear the strong wind.
Its been a very hard
climb, since they were forced to break trail in a deep snow all the way up.
After two hours he was back to C4 and his idea is to reach BC for tonight.
For Gnaro his 12 8.000!
Ciao Idel
