Mt Everest summiter Clara Sumarwati plans to finish the 7 summits! Clara
Sumarwati is credited as the 39th woman to Summit Everest and one of the very
few women to summit Mt Everest in the Autumn. Now she
tells EverestNews.com that she has a very busy year in 2004 in which she plans
to summit several peaks. |

She tells EverestNews.com
that she plans to climb Carstensz Pyramid in 2004 and is
looking for more climbers to join her on Carstensz Pyramid. Clara plans
expeditions to Mt Vinson, Mt Cook, Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt McKinley (Denali)
& Mt Elbrus. She also plans this commercial expedition to Mt Carstensz in
2004. Clara is credited as the first Indonesian person,
male or female to summit Everest.
Clara, from Jakarta is credited with summiting Everest
(9/26/96) at age 30 on her second attempt after not reaching the summit in
1994.
