Report from Brit Volden: We
have arrived safely in Kathmandu. All of our luggage and
cargo is here, and the custom officers treated us well.
The Sherpas has left for Hile, by bus. They took all the
equipment we will need in basecamp, and for the
climbing. As planned, we are leaving for Tumlingtar, on
Tuesday 23. march, by plane. From there, we are starting
the trek for basecamp, and this will take approximatly
10 days. PS. Kathmandu is hot and humid!.
