Two Czech climber Radek Jaros having five 8000m peak to his name - Everest, Kangchenjunga, Broad Peak, Cho Oyu and Shishapangma and Peter Masek having two 8000m peaks to his name - Broad Peak and Shishapangma are attempting Nanga Parbat to make the summit bid around end of June from Diamir Face. 

After Nanga Parbat they will try K2 for the third time from the Basque Route South East Spur, They have attempted K2 in 2001 and 2003 but failed to reach the summit.
