 Update:
News: We actually planned today 17th July;
go up to the Camp I. But unfortunately it has begun again to snow since
yesterday night. Right now all the K2 climbers are in Base camp and waiting
for good weather. We hope that could move further up to higher camp on Monday.

Update:
Today we arrived in K2 Base Camp.
We started
on 10th July at 5:00 morning from Gore II to Concordia; there I met my old
friend Amin, we approached further on from Concordia to Base camp. Our first
stop in Broad Peak Base camp, I met Mario Merelli, Denis Urubko, and other
Italians who I know them and Viktor Kozlov from Russia Expedition. As well
Viktor Kozlov is planning a Film project next year in Karakorum. At upper Base
camp of Broad Peak I met Pheda, our Pakistani Cook who was with us in 2003. He
was happy to see we each other also he introduce me his friend and wants to
visit me at K2 Base camp.
At finally
reach K2 Base Camp there met our group. From our group except Laison Officer
and cook all of climbers are on mountain. Most of climbers are already gone up
to the Mountain. It seems that would be better weather for 1 or 2 days, so
they went up to fixed further towards the top wrestled. Some of Climbers are
climbing on Abruzzi Route and some of are Cession route. Tomorrow we will make
a rest day in Base Camp. On 12th July we will try to climb up camp I. Lets see
how will be weather Condition! Peter
