Update:
Ryan checking in from Kathmandu.
Well we arrived from the long journey last night around 6 p.m. Nepal Time from
Tibet. Special thanks to our Trekking Agent Murari Sharma for a smooth
transition over the border and into the party bus with San Miguel beer. We
arrived at our hotel, unloaded, and hosed down the climbing members so they
would appear presentable in the streets, then headed for the Everest Steak
House for good steaks. We also worked on our hydration with some Everest Beer.
People are taking care of the
last minute things here and enjoying Kathmandu. We will go to the Rum Doodle
tonight to have our Summiters sign the wall, and then we have a celebration
dinner at Murari's house. I will try to get our two western summiters to write
their accounts in the coming days.
We would like to thank Dan
Mazur, Everest Parivar Expeditions, EverestNews.com, Friends, Family, and
Sponsors.
For all of the team on the
2005 Summitclimb Mt. Everest NE Ridge Expedition, this is Ryan Waters signing
