We are roped together here walking on the Imja Glacier in the Shadow of Baruntse. There are some crevasses in this area so we are very careful to use glacier travel safety techniques

Here is a photo of Dan and Krzysztof Wielicki on the summit of Island Peak. Krzysztof Wielicki is probably one of the most famous living Polish climbers. He climbed the South Face of Lhotse (seen in the background). I am not sure if he summited. Also, he climbed Kangchenjunga in Winter with the legendary Jerzy Kukuczka.

We climbed the Chola Pass. Its 5300 metres high and a great training spot with lot of snow and glaciers. An excellent place for a future glacier school with our women Sherpa Students. Here is a photo of a small pond in the rocks below the main Chola Glacier.

A cold weather, high altitude double boot for extreme conditions The Olympus Mons is the perfect choice for 8000-meter peaks.
