of the Russian Everest
commercial expedition were the two climbers involved in the incident.
Sergey Kaimanchikov is
still in the Birendra Hospital in Chhauni. Sergey
Kaymachnirkow was a member of
Alexander Abramov's Russian
Everest Team in 2003.
Alexander Abramov has lead Russian commercial expeditions to
Everest the last 2 years, and summited in 2004.
The team hires Asian Trekking for support and Sherpas... The team decided to
go overland while the
Maoists strike had a road blockage until Tuesday....
We e-mailed the team on Saturday, but we had
not gotten a reply yet. Part of the team is already at base camp.
