In seasons 2003 and 2004
Russian Adventure Team organized 2 successful commercial expeditions on
Everest from Tibet side. Based on the last 2 years' experience, RAT is
launching another Everest expedition in spring 2005.
"Looks like people trust us,
- says Alexander Abramov (Alex), the founder and permanent leader of Russian
Adventure Team Everest Expeditions - and this year the list of participants
is practically ready before the New Year.
At present 10 climbers has
already confirmed their participation.
Here is the team:
Alexander Abramov - the leader,
Nate Schneider
Lorenzo Gariano
Karo Ovasapyan
John Christiana
James Wilde
Yury Taidakov
Ivan Dusharin
Dmitry Moskalev
Grigory Skaller
About 10 more Russian and
foreign climbers are in the process of joining the team.
The final profile of the
expedition will be approximately as follows: 15-20 climbers and 8-10 Altitude
Sherpas.
" One of the possible reasons
for such an interest in the expedition is a reasonable price, - suggests
Alexander Abramov, Everest Summiteer.
