The
Ukrainians will be back on Everest in Spring 2005. Two time summiter (1982,
2000) Sergey Bershov will return for this third summit if successful. He has
also summited
Kangchenjunga
(1989),
Annapurna (1996), Lhotse (1990),
Dhaulagiri (1994), along
with many other mountains.
The team will be made up of
Sergey Bershov, Igor Svergun, Ivan Valenya, and two Czech climbers and one
from Georgia.
The expedition is organized
by the Kharkov regional club of mountain-climbers.
