Everest 2006: ANDALUCIA EVEREST EXPEDITION: Going back home....

They will get to Sevilla at 00:15 on Tuesday

"After having solved the heavy paperwork of the air cargo and currency exchange, we want to communicate that tomorrow, Monday 15.05.06 we will leave to Spain.

We will depart from Katmandu at 8:15 in the morning to Doha, the capital of Qatar.  There we will take another plane to Madrid.  The flight back to Sevilla will be taken at 23:15, so if no flight is delayed we get to Sevilla at 00:15.

We have received countless messages with the support and cheers from sponsors, family and friends, and that has lifted our spirits a little more.  We apologize to our sponsors, but we will attempt the attack next year and they will be there.

We need to rest a few weeks and we will soon start with an exhaustive preparation and plans.  Really an eight-thousand is like this, a few times it is reached, especially Everest.  We have met some Basque and Cordova friends and who were going to another eight-thousand, and nobody could make it to the summit, it is hard, but the Himalayas is the maximum on the planet.

Although our arrival will be at a complicated time, we know that we will be warmly greeted".

Juan Antonio Huisa
