Earlier update: Dirk called me and is now in altitude of 5.000m, Gorac. He plans to walk to the base camp on April 6 and to settle there long term. He was so amazed to see his luggage actually on the back of a Yak on the way to the base camp. He hasn't seen his luggage for four weeks and was really relieved to spot it in between the other expedition members' stuff. Dirk Stephan
