Due to weather conditions Dirk
decided to return at the south col and headed all the way back to the base
camp, while the other climbers continued. He preferred to stop the summit push
since the wind became stronger and the other climbers disappeared within the
heavy snowstorm. For himself he could not justify to ascend further. Overall
he is very content with what he could achieved this season. He has never
accommodate in such a high altitude and he has achieved his personal record of
altitude. He has conquered the difficulties of last year to the extend
possible. The weather is finally not influence able.
He will keep the incredible
nature and views of that misanthropic surrounding in mind while it appears
that he will head for Kathmandu within the next days.
