He is the first Filipino person who made the first successful summit victory
against Mt Cho Oyu 8120 m on last autumn 2005. This spring 2006 he is the
leader for Friendship Everest Expedition spring 2006. He is trying the
summit attempt from the south ridge of Everest.
His all the summit attempt is covering by GMA 7 Network of
Philippine. This GMA is the strongest TV channel in the Philippine. There
are five persons on the base camp who are covering all the updates of
Romeo’s summit attempts.
