Team No Limits, Base Camp
Manager, Roger Coffey, has headed for Katmandu. According to Roger, Base Camp
is becoming desolate and he made the decision to leave before his team member,
Doug. Doug will remain under the guidance of Apa Sherpa until he is safely
back down to Base Camp. Our last report indicated that Doug is resting up at
Camp II and will make his final descent thru the Icefall when Apa Sherpa deems
it safe. The Icefall is beginning to melt and can present a paramount
challenge to climbers upon their descent.
We are happy to know that
Doug is resting up for this final and treacherous stretch. Apa Sherpa will see
to it that Doug undertakes crossing the Icefall at a safe time. We all remain
so proud of Doug and thankful for guys like Apa. Apa is dedicated to making
sure that his last man is off the mountain safely.
Weather permitting, Doug
should begin his climb thru the Icefall early this morning. We will send word
when we have the confirmation that he is safely down!

Team No
Limits affiliated climber, Juli Smith, summited at approximately 7:20 AM
with Nawang Passang Sherpa. Both Juli and Nawang Passang are headed back
down. According to the latest report, all three climbers and four Sherpas
are headed to Camp IV. We will send conformation of their safe arrival to
Camp IV as soon as we are notified.
