Tashi sherpa, Dawa Gyalzen , Tshering Finjo Summit Everest for the Indian Army
team. The Second Indian Army team is on the way up.
David Tait and Phurba Tashi also summited along with Ken
Noguchi and unknown sherpas. 2 of Ken's Sherpas summited the other day, maybe
they summited again. It is getting common for Sherpas to summit multiple times
in a season. David Tait and Phurba Tashi are said to be traversing down the
south side, aka Mr Park and Jangu Sherpa last year...
Earlier: The Indian Army returns to Everest in 2007 again. Lt Col I S
Thapa will lead an expedition of around 20 climbers plus Sherpas. The
Indian Army expeditions has summited Everest in 2001, 2003 and 2005...
Hundreds of other climbers are expected to attempt Everest
again this year...
