Asian Trekking's International Dream
Everest Expedition led by Bill Burke of USA established Base Camp on Monday
the 11th April at an altitude of 5350m. This is the first complete
team arriving Base Camp at the north side of Mt. Everest .They plan to
establish intermediate camp on 14th April at an altitude of 5800m
and Advance Base Camp on 17th at an altitude of 6400m and will move
to ABC on 18th April. As per the telephone conversation with our

members and Sherpas are very well.
The team left from Kathmandu to the
Chinese border on Wednesday the 6th April. There were 4 members

Mr. Bill Burke is back with us for the forth time. In 2009, Bill made history
by being the oldest American to summit Mt. Everest. This year Bill, together
with Mexican David Liano, will be on
their second attempt to climb both the north and south sides of Mt. Everest in
one climbing season.
