Impacts Aconcagua Team
16 January 2014 -
Hi, This is Max Kausch writing a dispatch for the SummitClimb January 2014
WeŽre at BC (base camp) again after taking a load to camp 1 at 4950 m (16,240
ft.). Everyone is feeling strong and we are planning a summit push for around
the 22nd of January. The weather is not great anymore. Is snowing everyday
after 4pm and weŽre expecting a storm very soon.
Komal is giving a yoga lesson today at 5pm and sheŽll have 4 or 5 students for
it! The trekkers went back safely to Mendoza and are already enjoying a wine
If the snow allows our summit push starts tomorrow. Our plan is to move to
camp 1 on the 17th, then 2 nights at camp 2 (5600 m/18373 ft) on the 18th and
19th. Wish us luck!
Thanks for following the Blog.
