Parbat and K2 2009: More Summits but overshadowed by a tragic
event

Dear Everestnews,
The Korean lady Ms. Eun Sun Oh has toped-out
Nanga Parbat yesterday
Among other climbers who summited the same day
are Mr. Wolfgan Koelblinger who unfortunately fails 50m below summit while
descending the summit. More summit reports are coming and according to the
latest news of this afternoon, Gerfried Goeschl, Louis Rousseau, Josef
Bachmair, Alexander Roderick Allan and Richard Allen have reached the summit
on 11.07.2009 at 1530 hrs local time by a new route while Hans Goger,
Herbert Schuetter, Johann Wenzle, have reached the summit of Nanga Parbat on
10.07.2009 at 1130 hrs by the normal route.
