Jocelyn |
Both Matt
and Jocelyn attempted on the summit of Everest with the large group that
resulted in 15 or more summits.
Matt's family was concerned so we put the
word out to look for him. Very late last night we heard that he was at camp 2 and
fine. He has called home too!
While details are far from
clear: Matt reported to his family: "He has not been able to get the O2 to
work. He made it to 8500 meters and there were no fixed ropes on the 2nd
step. He was with Jocelyn and neither he nor Matt could get their regulators
on their O2 to work." [We understand from others only Matthew had
Nick had
oxygen problem. Jocelyn did not
have an oxygen porblem. ]
Last night there was also some concern on
the location of Jocelyn.
Again, we put out the word for information on Jocelyn.
Annie, his wife, had
reported in several times to EverestNews.com. It would be a long night. But
this morning we got great news!
"We have just come to know that
Jocelyn from Calgary is alive and well in Camp I. His team mate Vincent Waters
has spoken to him from ABC half an hour back. Indian Air Force Expedition and
Martin Minarik from ABC North side.
Thank YOU Everest climbers
for helping !! Thank YOU, Thank YOU!
