Update:
Deboche

Hello family
and friends, First we want to wish a very happy fifteenth birthday to
Dianette's daugther: Brianna Strange. David Liano will be carrying a Mexican
flag to the summit and would like to give it to her upon his return to Mexico
via Los Angeles. Tonight, we will all sing to you, Brianna. Your mom says she
loves you and will see you very soon ("Please be proud of me" your mom says).
We are all now enjoying thicker air. The air is richer in oxygen here at
Deboche (3800 m/ 12,300 ft). Nigel's eating just as much as normal and it
looks like it paid off. He just beat Willie at a game of Chess. Which is the
first time Willie's lost a game against a non-Sherpa.
Last night we had a nice surprise. There were some Koreans staying in the same
lodge as us and one of them delighted us with playing the guitar and singing
songs in at least 6 different languages all night. His enthusiasm was
contagious and at one point Mustafa jumped in and started dancing. We all had
a great time and went to bed "late" (9:30 pm is late for us).

For the next three nights we'll be enjoying our rest and recovery period here
in the Amadablam Garden Lodge in Deboche before starting our hike back up to
basecamp to prepare for our summit bid.
so yeah, best to you all! We love you and hope you're doing well.
Peace out!!
-Jose Luis and
Dani Fisher
