Add: At the summit he met the Brazilians Waldemar Niclevicz and his partner Irivan Burda who climbed by the south route. Rodrigo Raineri turned back very close to the summit. Vitor and Rodrigo are back to their tent at C3

Add according to his press agent: ON TOP OF THE WORLD: Gabriel Filippi has reached the summit of Everest (29,035ft / 8850M) Monday, may 30th around 10:00 A.M. (Nepal time).  He is doing well and is spending the night at Camp II.  Early tomorrow morning he will be traversing the famous Khumbu icefall than heading back to Base Camp IN MEMORY OF SEAN EGAN: On the summit, Gabriel installed a "KADA" (a scarf blessed by the monk and worn by the climbers) on which he had written 1942-2005, in memory of his friend Sean Egan.  He had inserted Sean's ashes in a small pocket.   His friend is now where he always wanted to be.
