Two Updates below
Update:
Gav reports that the weather is still good at Camp 2 - but much
worse on the higher slopes. Despite this, his plan to set off later today (UK
time) to head straight to the South Col is still on. From there he'll wait for
a couple of hours and get some rest before heading to the summit hopefully on
Saturday night/Sunday morning (UK time)! His battery power is low so will be
saving it for higher up.

Update:
Conflicting weather reports : There are vastly conflicting reports as to the
weather over the next couple of days so Gav may well now go down to Camp 1 or
BC and wait. Some teams are going up to Camp 3 tomorrow - but he has no camp
three so he's not willing to forge ahead!
