Update May 30th, 2005:
Updates from Base Camp.
May 31, 2005, Team Honda
Everest 2005, Team member Mr. Takeshi KODAMA (1st time
summit) and climbing Sherpa Mr. Pasang Rinji Sherpa (4th time Summit) summited
at 7:55 am Nepal time. Mr. Shigeki Imoto (2nd Time summit) and Mr. Danuru
Sherpa (6th time summit) reached the Mt. Everest summit at 9:40 NST. They left
C4 at 10:00pm for summit attempt.

Updates from Base Camp: May 31, 2005, Team member
Mr. Takeshi KODAMA and climbing Sherpa Mr. Pasang Rinjee Sherpa summited at
7:55 am Nepal time. Mr.Shigeki Imoto and Mr. Danuru Sherpa are on their way to
summit. They left C4 at 10:00pm for summit attempt

26th May, Team leader Mr. Michihiro HONDA has went back to Kathmandu for
medical treatment, he had snow blindness and frozen right hand fingers at camp
IV, today he took medical checkup and got dressing on his right hand finger at
the CIWEC clinic in Kathmandu. Mr. Honda will stay in Kathmandu and have
regular medical treatment.
Other two member Mr. Shigeki
Imoto and Mr. Takeshi KODAMA start climbing on 27th May, planning to reach the
summit on 30th May 2005. Will inform the detail schedule as soon as we
receive from the Base camp.

Japanese team "Team Honda
Everest 2005" led by Mr Michihiro Honda (66) departed to Everest Base camp on
23 March. A three members team is permitted to climb Mt. Everest from normal
route. During their expedition they will set up camp V near balcony and
supposed to attempt the top of the world around mid of May 2005.

IMOTO, who have already made a successful attempt from the difficult route
North-East ridge in 11 May 1995.
