Today,
Friday 15th of April, the four Majorcans expeditionary, Tolo Calafat, Juan
Antonio Olivieri, Tolo Quetglas and Jose Maria Alvarez, are from Wednesday in
the Base Camp, where they dedicated part of the yesterday’s day to inspecting
the material whose the Sherpas will transport to Camp I and II. From the Base
Camp to the Everest there are about 3,500 meters of unevenness and for this
reason Sherpas will help the Majorcans expeditionary to load the stores, the
furnaces, the coats, the food, oxygen, etc. of the different camps; a total of
four until the South Col, to 8,100 meters on the level of the sea. Tomorrow
the group will spend the night over the Khumbu ‘s cascade of ice, to 5,900
meters, the following day to continue until Camp II and to quickly lower to
the Base Camp.
Yesterday,
like outstanding point, we must make reference to the ceremony celebrated by
the Pengboche‘s Lama, loaded of plagiaries and blessings, to ensure the
success of this adventure.
