The
expedition initiates the ascent to Field II
The
Majorcans expeditionary have predicted to arrive the next Saturday to Camping
II, to 6,400 meters of height.
After they installed Field I,
the Majorcans expeditionary have enjoyed a pair of days of rest for adapting
their bodies to the height and to recover of some ailments.

Jose Maria Alvarez "Jopela”,
yesterday went to the Medical Center of the Base Camp and the doctor diagnosed
a viral infection to him whose was caused him an irritation in the lungs and
for this reason he will remain in the Base Camp during these three days of
acclimatization and preparation of the height camps.

Today, the rest of the
Majorcans expeditionary has started the way in the direction of the ice
cascade of the Khumbu for Camping I, to 6060 meters, where they will spend the
night and the next Saturday they will retake the march by the Silence Valley
until arriving at Field II, 6,400 meters, where they will remain all the night
to become acclimated itself, and will lower to the Field Base Sunday.

A cold
weather, high altitude double boot for extreme conditions The Olympus
