The members
of the expedition complete the second cycle of acclimatization
It is
anticipated that from the 18 of May they will have one week with the more
optimal meteorological conditions to conquer the summit of the Everest

Whenever the
meteorological conditions allow it, Juan Antonio Olivieri and Tolo Calafat
have predicted morning to leave Camp II (6.450m.) in the direction of the wall
of the Lhotse, to surpass the "Yellow Bands" and to arrive more close possible
from the South Neck (8.050m.). Next, both climbing they could lower to sleep
to Camp III, to 7,250 meters of height. While, Tolo Quetglas is probable that
he takes advantage of to descend to the Field Base.
On the other
hand, Sherpas mounted Camp III today and, if the time allows it, they will
begin to prepare Camp IV, the last one of all before reaching the summit.
This way the
second cycle of acclimatization will be completed before the final attack to
the ceiling of the world. The dates to conquer the summit could take shape
around days 20 and 25 of May.
