Mt. Everest 2005: Majorca to Everest: The meteorological forecasts foretell the worse situation

In the highest Earth mountain a so dramatic year does not remember from year 1996.

The meteorological forecasts in the Himalayas are very negatives respect the idea to arrive already at the top by the South slope because, at the moment, the winds about 80Km /h and the low temperatures around 30ºC below cero. However by the North slope, the Tibetan, is official who the American Michael Frank and the Asturian Maria Rose Fernandez, in addition to four sherpas, have arrived at the Everest last weekend. For fifteen years it doesn’t remember a so dramatic year in the highest.

Meanwhile, the members of the expedition "Majorca to dalt of tot. Everest 2005" have fixed the 25th of May like a  limit date to attack the great mountain because in June, with the entrance of the monsoon, the ice cascade of the Khumbu will begin to liquefy and supposes an enormous danger. Even so the height fields must disassemble before leaving the Base Camp, fact that Olivieri, Calafat and Quetglas could take advantage of to make the last attempt.
