The
expedition leaves the attempt to arrive at the summit
Due to the
bad meteorological conditions the members of the expedition have decided to
resign to the dream to crown to the Everest
Today,
Majorcan expedition has decided to give, at the moment, by finalized its
adventure. In spite of the good physical training conditions of our
expeditionary ones, the meteorology has not accompanied and it has not allowed
to manage the objective to see for the first time the Majorcan flag in the
summit of the highest mountain of the world. "we were sorry to leave the
aventure after all the support that we have received from the citizenship, of
the confidence which they have deposited in us the institutions you publish
and private, but the situation does not allow us to follow ahead" comments
Tolo Calafat. On the other hand, today same they will initiate the planning of
its return.
