Hello Everyone! Today we had
our puja and honored the mountain Gods. Lhama Jungmu performed the
ceremony. Our staff hoisted the colorful prayer flags around our camp and we
celebrated our climb! We spent the rest of the day preparing to climb
tomorrow and organizing the food and equipment that the Sherpas will bring up
the mountain. We had a enough time today to watch a movie.
Tomorrow climbing team, Kay,
Joe, Ray, Eric, Dean and Willie will climb to camp 1 and then return to base
camp. This will be their first time through the ice fall. Ron, Javier and I
will climb to camp 1 to spend the night and return to base camp the following
day.
We look forward to tomorrow!
Cheers, Christine
