Update from the three man expedition without oxygen (Climbers
Robert Goh, Lim Kim
Boon and Edwin Siew)
10 April 2005: The Singapore
Premier Taxi Everest Expedition without oxygen departed this morning for Camp
1 for the night. Robert, Edwin and Kim Boon, crossed the Khumbu Icefall in
good time despite the high winds. They plan to move up to Camp 2 tomorrow
before descending to BC, but with winds expecting to reach 50 knots tomorrow,
this may change.
