Annapurna 2005: Heading out to the mountain

Good Morning this is mBank Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition. Today is Sunday and also Easter Day so I would like to send you the best Eastern greetings  of luck and wealth..

Today Me, Aleksander Wasniowski and Valdo Strba start heading for Chomrong. When we reach this place we will be in half of the distance to Annapurna BC. The rest of the members, Piotr Morawski and Marcin Miotk, are leaving Kathmandu today. I think that after two days both groups will join. We ordered some of the porters to move faster, through the glacier, to the place where we are planning to settle a BC. It should let us save some time. The weather is good. There is not much water in the streams so I suppose that there is also little snow in the mountains . Best greetings once again... Piotr Pustelnik

Piotr Pustelnik will lead a group of veteran climbers to attempt to summit Annapurna in Spring 2005. After Annapurna he is considering Broad Peak "via normale but I still think about this unclimbed ridge starting near Concordia." We have covered Piotr numerous times including Annapurna 2004.
