Good morning, this is mBank
Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition.
We are all in the Base Camp,
with all our equipment. Now there are about two days of placing all stuff in
order and digging huge platforms. There is about 70cm of snow here, more than
last year.
We are all healthy and
everything is ok.
Tomorrow we are going to go
up to 5600m. To get used to the altitude. And the next day we are going to
start working on settling camp I.
The weather is good, and we
all feel very well. Best greetings to everyone.
From the Era satellite phone,
Piotr Pustelnik.
Dispatches
| Piotr Pustelnik will lead
a group of veteran climbers to attempt to summit Annapurna in Spring 2005.
After Annapurna he is considering Broad Peak "via normale but I still
think about this unclimbed ridge starting near Concordia." We have covered
Piotr numerous times including
Annapurna 2004.
