8000 Meters Facts
2005: ABC and Moving up the Mountain
this is mBank Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition, welcome from the ABC. The
day before we settled the ABC. The weather was very good, which is not very
typical for Annapurna. Together with Piotr Morawski we have also made about
100 m on the pillar leading to camp I. Marcin and Vlado are working in the
wall, we have just received the message that they finished putting fix ropes.
Today the weather is a little bit worse, it is colder than yesterday and
foggy. However, it is still pretty good and if the weather remains like that,
maybe in two days we will settle the camp I. We all feel very well and we are
really optimistic. Piotr Pustelnik

a group of veteran climbers to attempt to summit Annapurna in Spring 2005.
After Annapurna he is considering Broad Peak "via normale but I still
think about this unclimbed ridge starting near Concordia." We have covered
Piotr numerous times including
