Annapurna 2005: Update everything will be OK

Update: 21st of April – part 1

Hi, this is mBank Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition. Welcome from the Camp I. Yesterday we have reached the place where the Sherpas put the tent. We have put the second one. Unfortunately it appeared that Sherpas had brought only a tent to this place. They had deposited the food in another place, lower then the Camp was settled, so we are a little hungry, but today they will bring it to us. The weather is beautiful, we can see the way which we want to go up, so we are very hopeful...

We have a little trouble with our cook’s assistant. He became ill and it’s possible that he will have to be evacuated from the BC by helicopter. I am a little anxious about him...Good bye... till the next call...Piotr Pustelnik

21st of April – part 2: Good morning, this is Piotr Pustelnik once again. I have a latest news. The helicopter has landed in the BC and took the assistant of our cook to the hospital. He will be fine and everything will be OK. Our Sherpas are very close to us, they will bring the food and some of our equipment. From the Camp I  - Piotr Pustelnik – mBank Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition.

Piotr Pustelnik will lead a group of veteran climbers to attempt to summit Annapurna in Spring 2005. After Annapurna he is considering Broad Peak "via normale but I still think about this unclimbed ridge starting near Concordia." We have covered Piotr numerous times including Annapurna 2004. Piotr Pustelnik, with his Summit of Kangchenjunga has joined an elite group in the goal to reach the True Summits of the 14 8000 meter peaks.  Below is a short biography of Piotr Pustelnik
