Update:
Day 36 – 24th of April
Good Morning, This is mBank
Lotto Annapurna South Face Expedition. Today after six days of intensive work
Me, Piotr Morawski and Marcin Miotk have returned to BC. We put 500 m of fix
ropes on the way to Camp II. If the weather is good, I think that we will need
about two days to finish our work and to settle the Camp II. We have enough
equipment, ropes etc. to reach the major difficulties on the way to summit.
Tomorrow we will analyze the pictures and we will decide where to settle the
Camp II, but we will see how it looks like when we will climb near the serac.
The weather changed and it is warmer and more wet, it is raining sometimes in
the BC. The snow, which we found here on the beginning, disappeared. Everybody
feels good....Good by, till the next call...Piotr Pustelnik
Dispatches
| Piotr Pustelnik will lead
a group of veteran climbers to attempt to summit Annapurna in Spring 2005.
After Annapurna he is considering Broad Peak "via normale but I still
think about this unclimbed ridge starting near Concordia." We have covered
Piotr numerous times including
Annapurna 2004.
