Update: May 30: This is a update from the
staff at EverestNews.com, not a team update: Chuck Huss and Dan Smith are
headed home. Rob
Chang and John Gray continue on with a strong Sherpas team headed by the Everest legend Apa Sherpa as Expedition Sirdar. Apa is the world record
holder of the most summits of Everest with 14.
Update: Friday, May 27: Rob called in his
dispatch today. He said that yesterday they climbed all the way from base camp
to Camp 2 in one shot. They are all in good spirits but pretty tired after
such a huge effort, so they are taking a rest day today. From here, they plan
to move on to Camp 3 on Saturday the 28th.
