Apa Sherpa Summits for the 15th
time!
As per the
report of Liaison officer and Team Leader, the following 1 member and 2 High
Altitude Workers of Everest Climbing for a Cure Expedition team has been
successful to scale 8848 meter high Mt. Everest on 31st May, 2005 at 6:30 am.

Yrs), High Altitude Worker, Namche-7, Thame, Solukhumbu, Nepal
The 10 members Everest
Climbing for a Cure Expedition team was permitted to climb 8848 m. high Mt.
Everest from South East Ridge for the period of 75 days from 4th April, 2005
The handling agency of the
Expedition Team is Asian Trekking (Pvt. Ltd.) Kathmandu, Nepal.

Chang and John Gray continue on with a strong Sherpas team headed by the Everest legend Apa Sherpa as Expedition Sirdar. Apa is the world record
holder of the most summits of Everest with 14.
Update: Friday, May 27: Rob called in his
dispatch today. He said that yesterday they climbed all the way from base camp
to Camp 2 in one shot. They are all in good spirits but pretty tired after
such a huge effort, so they are taking a rest day today. From here, they plan
to move on to Camp 3 on Saturday the 28th.
