Mt. Everest 2005: Climbing For A Cure: News on Rob and maybe another summit!

CopyrightŠEverestnews.com

Update: Just received the following update from Rob's Dad... via the climbing for a cure folks

Hi all! Just received a call from Rob this morning around 12:56 AM. He sounded very tired but very happy that the toughest of his climbs was successfully achieved. He said he reached the summit on May 31 about four hours after Apa Sherpa and about two hours after John Gray. He was suffering from a case of pulmonary edema and felt once off the mountain and back to Katmandu he would fully recover with the proper medical treatment. The entire family wishes to thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers in bringing about this successful outcome. Rob is truly blessed to have all these good friends. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Take care. Wil.
