Badia Bonilla and Mauricio Lopez: G1 and G2 2005: "An ascending couple"

on the summit of Everest

Introduction: BADIA BONILLA AND MAURICIO LOPEZ

"An ascending couple"

WHO THEY ARE: For the human being, any kind of objective or project leads him or her to take a path that never ends and becomes a philosophy of life: "to reach the summit and keep climbing".

Badía and Mauricio are a married couple of proudly Mexicans climbers who started climbing as a couple in 1997, and since then they have reached the summits of the most important peaks of our country, to continue with the most important in South America, USA, Canada and Asia.

Badia Bonilla has a degree in Nutrition and is an specialist in anthropometry and nutrition applied to sports.  She is also a world level climber.

Mauricio Lopez is studying to be a Geology Engineer.  Personal trainer, and world level climber and leader.

They both form "An ascending couple".  They have climbed the highest mountains of the world with perseverance, notably Everest. Their spirit for challenge, will of change and team has let them accumulate life experiences to transmit them in human development topics.

"Everest at the end is not just one more mountain.  Not even for being the highest mountain on the world.  What it really means is a great opportunity to learn, to understand with humbleness our limitations and to know clearly our scopes and possibilities.  Thanks to this experience we know today what we are capable of and that means a lot of mountains while we are alive".
