Rottenegger and Andreas Seiler G2 2005: The Summit push is on!
7/15: 16 climbers started on Saturday: Christian, Andi, 4 Italian guys and 10
members of the Austrian/Swiss group. They want to reach summit on Tuesday.
Perhaps they are back to basecamp on Wednesday.
7/13: Since yesterday weather at Gasherbrum II is bad again
(after 2 days sun). New snow destroys the ski-track to camp 2. Nobody has been
at camp 3 so far. Our expedition group (8 Italian and 2 German) has to be
ready next week on Thursday and so time is scarce. 3 members of our expedition
group want to start to summit tomorrow, the next 3 person want to start on
Friday an the remaining climbers on Saturday. The German members are Christian
Rottenegger and Andreas Seiler.
7/14 Yesterday weather was very very bad (0,5 meter new snow). They want to
start on Saturday (hope the winds are not to heavy).
