While the Trango 2 may be heavier than
some other 4-season tents and might take up a bit more
space when packed, what you’re giving up in portability
is more than made up for by the Trango’s ability to
weather winter storms better than most other 4-season
tents.
The Trango 2 shelters two adults comfortably in its 40.5
square foot floor area and has a roomy 41 in. high ceiling. The dual shelf
design provides extra structural integrity and vestibule support without
adding a net of taut cords and lines. The Trango 2’s four poles are Easton C2
carbon for added support.

A large vent panel in the upper canopy adds extra
ventilation, as do the dual vestibule exits. This arrangement provides the
occupants with greater comfort during humid and warm weather conditions. Other
interesting and useful features include two UVX viewing windows, one over the
vent and another in the vestibule fly, and multiple guy-out points for added
support attachments during severe weather.
Weighing in at 8 lbs. 5 oz the Trango 2 provides some of the
roomiest and sturdiest two-man shelter you can find. It has a MSRP of $445.95.
