 The Western Mountaineering Puma
Super DL sleeping bag is for outdoor enthusiasts who aren’t afraid of a little
cold sub-zero camping. Whether you are more likely to be found on the
Continental Divide in January or the flanks of Everest in May this bag will keep
you comfortable in temperatures down to -20°F. The Puma is constructed of
35ounce down fill and has 8.5 inches of loft, so even if your honey doesn’t join
you on every expedition you will always have something to snuggle with back at
camp.
The bag is constructed using 6
inch spacing and V-block side baffles, helping to keep the down in place and
reducing cold spots to nothing more then bad memories. A 3-dimensional down
filled collar traps the warmth from the body in the bag and utilizes Dryloft™
fabric on the outside to protect the down from possible frosty breath and
condensation from within the shelter. The two interlocking down draft tubes are
also made with Dryloft™ to keep cold air and weather out of this toasty oasis.
Should you be seduced into
sleeping under the stars by a clear night or find yourself in an unfortunate
situation late in the day the Puma Super DL is ready. The Dryloft™ shell
provides adverse weather protection. The foot section is reinforced with 2.4oz
taffeta making it suitable for gear storage if you size your bag large.
Regardless of whether the next
10 years have you scaling the 7 summits or cross country skiing the shores of
Lake Superior, the Puma Super DL has what it takes to replenish the body and
spirit at night and tackle the challenges awaiting the adventure by day.
