Lhakpa Dorje Sherpa was born in 1955 in Khumjung, Solukhumbu. He summited with the Canadian expedition on Oct 5th, 1982 via the South East Ridge route. Then again with the American expedition on May 15, 1991 via the North East Ridge standard route.
