Top China climber died in rock fall in Pakistan

The accident occurred in the morning of May 27, when The China Tibet Climbing Team was on the way to the 11th high peak, the last 8000+ peak to finish their Top 14 expedition. Rock fall hit the jeep which RenNa and Benba Zaxi were in. RenNa was confirmed death

while arriving at hospital. Benba Zaxi was seriously wounded but in stable condition. Cireb Douji, the Climbing leader and a local interpreter  in the same vehicle were only slightly wounded.

RenNa is the husband of JiJi who had just summited Mt.

Everest on May 22, 2005.
