2005: official notification of peaks fees in Pakistan, including K2 with some changes from 2004

Ministry of Tourism, Government of Pakistan through their official notification No. 1(1)2002-OP has decided to continue the 50% reduction in mountaineering royalty fee for climbing mountains above 6000m located in Northern Areas of Pakistan during the Calendar year 2005.

HALF ROYALTY FOR THE YEAR 2005 IN US DOLLARS

This is to inform you that the rumors of NO PEAK FEE for mountains below 6500m for year 2005 is now over with this official notification. Unless we received another notification confirming NO PEAK FEE for mountains below 6500m.
